Tee Level Clinics
Ever wondered if you would like playing the game that Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus grew up playing? If golf looks fun to you and you have never played before, this is the program for you! To be eligible all you have to do is be between the ages of 8 and 13 and want to learn the game of golf. It is a week-long clinic designed to introduce you to the swing fundamentals, rules and etiquette, and history of the game. At the end of the week you will get to play on the golf course with your new skill and the brand new set of clubs that are yours to keep so you can continue to enjoy the game.
Green Level Training Program
Do you know how to grip a club but aren’t sure which club to use for different distances? Do you know how to take the proper golf stance but aren’t sure how to adjust when the ball isn’t in a flat lie? Are you confused about where to drop a ball after the one you hit splashes in a lake? And do you understand the basics of the game but are still a little nervous to be playing on the golf course?

If you answered “yes” to these questions, then the Green Level Training Program is just what you need.

There is a BIG difference between knowing how to hit a golf ball and knowing how to play on the course. In six fun sessions a golf instructor will work with you and other kids to help you learn how to play golf on the golf course. Each session will also help you understand the different rules and etiquette and course management situations that come up while playing on the course. And when the program is completed, you’ll be ready to head out on the golf course and play a real golf match with your friends and family. Then they’ll be the ones asking you what to do when their ball lands in a water hazard!

Challenge Golf League
Do you wish you could sign-up to play in a golf league just like there is for baseball and soccer? Have you ever watched the Ryder Cup or Solheim Cup and thought the format looked pretty fun? Do you want to have the opportunity to play in competitive matches with your friends? Well, playing in the Challenge Golf League would let you do just that.

Kids with all different skill levels come together to form teams of six and play competitive matches week to week. Each player must first pass a skills evaluation and a rules & etiquette test and be between the ages of 8-15. If you pass the evaluation you will be put on a team with your own coach. The coach helps out the team during practices and matches.
Most leagues play ten 9-hole matches in a season. Each team challenge other teams using a two-person scramble format. The Challenge Golf League is a fun way for all kids to become more comfortable playing on the golf course. It’s a great way to meet friends, too!
Traditions Of Golf Challenge
Did you know there is a national tournament that tests kids on their knowledge of golf’s rules, etiquette, and history? It’s called the Traditions Of Golf Challenge, a three-day event where kids participate in contests, clinics, demonstrations and a tournament.

On each hole during the tournament individual players are asked a question. A right answer and he/she scores a birdie for the team with a chance for an eagle. A wrong answer and the entire team can come together and try to save par. But if the team answers wrong, the team scores a bogey.

To prepare for the tournament kids do more than hit endless buckets of balls. They study the rules of golf and practice their team strategies. They arrive at the Traditions Of Golf Challenge ready to prove their knowledge of the game. However, the focus of the event is to have fun and that is why they teams never want to leave!

Traditions of Golf Challenge teams are selected from Hook A Kid On Golf programs who run all the elements of the program.
